Welcome!

We set out to make carnivorous plants accessible for every plant enthusiast. Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for everyone to enjoy these amazing plants as much as we do. We love learning about the nuances of caring for these plants.

Why carnivorous plants? They come in a fantastic variety of shapes, sizes, and colors. They flower. Tropical Mexican pinguicula grow new leaves quickly and their appearance can change widely from season to season. They help out with pest control around the house, and they sparkle while they do it.

We are based in Minneapolis, MN and grow these amazing plants indoors under lights with the supervision of our two retired ex-racing greyhounds, Lyra and Dragon, and an adopted Senegal parrot, Piccolo. Both flora and fauna keep us busy!
